I eventually learned how to express myself more through music and it slowly but surely became my passion.

So I took it upon myself to try and relearn things from the past, and master them in the present. Despite how hard it may be, or how much I might suck, I look forward to sharpening my skills and passing them (and the mindset) on to my daughter in the near future.

When did you discover that you had a passion for this field? A few months ago i was thinking to myself, and i realized how much I’ve always loved music. Singing, writing, instruments, music theory…. Etc but i just never believed in myself and my abilities. I’m happy I could change my mind.

What do you love most about your profession? I got into doing music through my brother Eli (who is also the producer of my music). Growing up, he had an electric piano and we would just play around like we are making songs until he got into producing when we got a little older and he invited me to the studio and we’ve been at the music ever since.

Tell us more about what you do? The things I love most about it is gives me a safe space to express myself without fear of being judged. Also, it gives me the freedom to be creative. Whatever I want to try I can do that. Try new flows and types of sounds to rap/sing on etc. Right now I’m still in the studio grinding. Just knocking out more songs to have more content to push out. I have like 5 songs right now that I can drop but I want to drop them one at a time and eventually do an album.

When did you discover that you had a passion for this field? I discovered I had a passion early. Pretty much after that first studio session with my brother, and I showed a few people close to me and they confirmed that it sounded good I was just like “Why not really do this? I love music and I have the talent!”

Who in your field do you look up... And as far as musical influences, other people look up too, I would say Lil Wayne, Andre 3000, Future and Tory Lanez. They all have a melodic rap style, so he gave me the confidence to do it myself because my voice is kinda high so hearing them do what they can do with their voices made it easier for me to go for it myself

  • Tcm Justice Digital Interview

    Name Tcm Justice

What is your profession? I’m a truck driver by day strictly to support my music career but by night I’m the self proclaimed No Niche Artist but once this music shit take off I’m off that truck ya heard!

How did you get into the field that you are in today? it’s funny because I come from a musically inclined family. Like my brother raps, my uncle raps, my other uncle & li sister play instruments, my grandmother and aunties used to be in a girl group etc.. but I can’t say that’s what influenced me.. I just listen to music, get inspired, and then write. And after awhile I realized I was kinda cold

What do you love most about your profession? The fact that I get to help people. With my music I aim to heal, inspire, empower, turn you up and at the same time tell my story. Like not everyone is capable of expressing themselves properly or are too afraid to but I have no problem being the voice. Fight Me!

Tell us more about what you do?  Most rappers bring their flow to a beat but I hear the beat and then flow on it which is why I can write to any genre of music. And every song created by Tcm Justice was wrote by Tcm Justice. I don’t know how to mix and master yet when I walk into the studio I know exactly what I want done including beat changes, adlibs, & sound effects. I’ve always been afraid of failure so I ain’t really step off the porch and start performing until November of 2023 but I been rocking out shows ever since.

When did you discover that you had a passion for this field? When I was like 12 I made my first song (that I can recall) that was actually worth a damn. It was a love song called “All Type Of Stuff”. From there I wrote a couple more songs then branched off and started making cartoon rap battles. And as my knowledge of the craft grew so did my interest. There’s just no better feeling than creating a body of work, playing it back, and having it alter your mood

Who do you look up to... Polo G because he’s able to tell his story, get his point across, write good music, and be lyrical all at the same time. I also admire those who are unapologetically themselves in their music and aren’t afraid to go against the masses like Cardi B, Nle Choppa, and Megan Thee Stallion
